Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to carry out pest control activities for weeds, vertebrate and invertebrate pests in wine operations.The unit applies to individuals who work under general supervision, with limited autonomy and accountability for their own work.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures according to state/territory health and safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.Use of chemical treatments may be controlled in some regions and advice should be sought from regulators in the relevant state or territory. Individuals performing shooting activities will require a gun licence under state and territory legislation.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Assessment Tasks
